Job Details

The Workfront Senior Product Marketing Manager - Competitive Intelligence is responsible for leading deep functional and technical competitive analysis. This includes understanding competitors' solutions at the feature and architectural level, evaluating functional strengths and weaknesses, understanding their go to market positioning, and collecting intelligence on pricing and packaging strategy.  This role will help to inform the Workfront product roadmap, positioning, and GTM strategy as well as partner with our global sales & partner teams to enable competitive selling. The position will also serve as the central point of contact for all competitive requests, including feature, architectural, and platform competitive capability knowledge requests. 

 Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitor product research to understand feature/function strengths and weaknesses and comparative advantages to Workfront.
  • Create competitive technical collateral that can be leveraged by direct sales and partners. The candidate must be able to create content that spans from a value message that an account manager can deliver to buyers and champions as well as for the sales engineer to deliver to more technical audiences.
  • Serve as a competitive subject matter expert to product management, sales and solutions engineers
  • Analyze and understand competitors' solutions that span across multiple product sets. The candidate must have the technical capabilities to determine the underlying technologies and architectures that are used in various enterprise networking offers.
  • Collaborate with sales and solutions engineering organizations to coordinate efforts, jointly identify competitive messaging, and gather Intelligence. The candidate must have a proven track record of working across multiple organizations and communicating clearly.
  • Present competitive data and enablement to global sales organizations. The candidate must have experience in presenting to sales organizations and customers. Experience in presenting to both small and larger groups, both in person and in a webinar format, is preferred. Ability to communicate technical information is imperative.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales engineering
  • 3+ years experience analyzing competitor solutions 
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise work management and underlying trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% 
  • Team player who is excited about growing a vibrant and dynamic company
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to win
