Easily toggle between traditional Waterfall or Agile views of projects and team backlogs.

Agile team builder
Ditch traditional top-down management style and create flexible, agile teams that can be responsive to the avalanche of work requests coming down the chute. Workfront lets you mark existing teams as Agile or create new Agile teams. Simply choose the desired settings for your team, and then decide if you want to estimate stories in points or hours. And because Workfront is designed to suit your preferred workflow, team members can be on both Agile and non-Agile teams, with the ability to toggle back and forth between traditional workflows and their agile work.
Keep your teams organized and your work prioritized. All work assigned to an agile team appears on the team's backlog and shows the story name, order, time or point estimation, and whether it's ready for iteration. To reorder the backlog, simply drag and drop stories into the preferred order. Workfront automatically back populates all the information into the standard work management view as well for a seamless coexistence between Agile and more traditional workflows.
Iterations in Workfront make it easy to define the number of jobs or requests that will be done in a certain span of time. Simply create an iteration, select the desired start and end dates, enter a goal, identify a focus for your team, and set the capacity. Workfront then automatically selects the stories that can be completed for the iteration based on the total number of points available. And if they're not the stories you want, simply drag-and-drop to modify the list.
The Workfront Agile storyboard lets you see all your current stories and how they are faring as the iteration moves through the timeline. Teams can create new stories on the backlog or break down stories into smaller subtasks to accommodate the need for more manageable pieces of work. Our interactive storyboards allow Agile teams to easily prioritize, manage and assign work tasks by freely moving them through swimlanes and statuses that represent completion stages. These storyboards display the number of stories and points completed based on the progress of tasks. The burn down chart helps you track your team’s progress and course-correct as the iteration progresses.
Capacity and factor focus
In Workfront Agile capacity and factor focus, you'll be able to make sure your iterations meet your resource capacities and stay on target. Using user-defined inputs, Workfront calculates the total number of points available to work on stories and the number of points in a specific iteration. Our interactive storyboards allow Agile teams to easily prioritize, manage and assign work tasks by freely moving them through swimlanes and statuses that represent completion stages. These storyboards display the number of stories and points completed based on the progress of tasks, and ultimately, report the productivity of the team.
