To help its employees live that value, and to give back to the community, AtTask employees participate in daylong service activities twice per year.
On September 11, 2014, AtTask partnered with United Way for its annual Day of Service. This year AtTask employees spent the day helping three local elementary schools: Suncrest Elementary, Central Elementary, and Westmore Elementary. The AtTask teams painted, restored, and organized areas within the schools and spent time reading and doing activities with the students.
“This is the third year that we have partnered with United Way on their annual Day of Service to help with their mission of helping children succeed in school and creating healthy communities,” said Eric Morgan, CEO of AtTask. “ We believe that creating an environment for learning helps children be more engaged in school and decreases the likelihood that they will drop out of school in the future.”
Because giving back is such an important core value, AtTask strongly encourages its over 500 global employees to participate in its semi-annual days of service. For those who are not able to attend the company-wide days of service, or want to give additional time back to the community, AtTask provides time off to do so. In the past year, AtTask employees have donated over 6,500 hours helping their communities.
